YaYa's Cook Book Menu

I chose to share the following piece because it embodies most of my skills  in one piece.  Photography, graphic design, logo design, layout and print.  This piece was challenging in a number of ways. It was a first time shooting food photography. The logo needed to have a homemade, street vendor feel, conveying Thai street food. The menu content needed to be laid out in a precise way, while maintaining the vintage newspaper vibe that the client wanted. It had to be easy to navigate the different sections of food type, easy to read the descriptions and showcase the variety of different prices based on different choices of protein. Some foods had fixed prices and meat choices, while others could be chosen. Working within the constraints given by the client, this piece succeeds on all levels.
